Avoid long hold times.<\/strong> No one likes to be put on hold. Don\u2019t waste your customer\u2019s time making them wait on the phone. And if you must, try to make it less annoying: let them know what the waiting time will be, or give them the option to be called back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Share customer service tips<\/strong>. If your company has a team of people taking care of customer support, it would be great to have a regular meeting and share tips, advice and examples of how to deliver great customer experience. Also, consider creating contests in order to come up with new ideas and projects around customer support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. And celebrate Get To Know Your Customer Day too!<\/strong> Instead of just a week, this happens <a href=\"https:\/\/nationaldaycalendar.com\/get-to-know-your-customers-day-third-thursday-of-each-quarter\/\">four times a year<\/a>, on the third Thursday of each quarter (January, April, July and October). It\u2019s also a great occasion to focus on how to reach the best customer experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Be more active on Social Media.<\/strong> We\u2019ve talked often about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.synchroteam.com\/blog\/tag\/social-media\/\">importance of your presence in social media<\/a>. Your customers are there, so you should too! Get involved in the conversation, but remember, this is an opportunity to engage, not for marketing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Start using video.<\/strong> Video is a great tool for many different purposes. It\u2019s also coming to more and more platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and beyond. You can use it to create online tutorials, for your Frequently Asked Questions section or even to create a video about your staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Give back to the community.<\/strong> Customers are important, yes. But so is the community to which you, your business and your customers belong. People love it when companies they usually work with get involved in community projects: charity events, philanthropic causes, NGOs\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Don\u2019t forget the employee experience.<\/strong> Part of delivering a great customer experience is making sure you also work hard on your own employee experience. A motivated worker will surely provide a better customer support than an unhappy one.
