{"id":501,"date":"2015-05-11T18:32:43","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T16:32:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.synchroteam.com\/blog\/?p=501"},"modified":"2023-05-01T16:33:06","modified_gmt":"2023-05-01T14:33:06","slug":"multi-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.synchroteam.com\/blog\/?p=501","title":{"rendered":"May 13th release: multi-job mode and status log"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Updates in this release<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Projects ( or&nbsp;<em>Multi-Job mode<\/em>)<\/strong>: We have added the notion of <em>Projects<\/em> to Synchroteam. It allows you to specify a job sequence and monitor progress for the set. You can define <strong>Project Types<\/strong>, and each will have a default <strong>Job Sequence<\/strong>. For example, you can create a \u201c<em>Standard Project\u201d<\/em> type that requires a sequence of four jobs:&nbsp; <em>Pre-visit<\/em>, <em>Installation,<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Quality Control and Post-visit<\/em>. Any new \u201c<em>Standard Project<\/em>\u201d you create will use this sequence. Once a project is created, you can decide to add or remove jobs from the sequence (this does not impact the default Multi-job sequence). Each job can be scheduled and managed independently, and can refer to differing skill sets. Xero.com is a provider of online accounting software.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Improvements<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Customer Portal:<\/strong> Added two-step authentication.
